Subject: Women’s Health Issues journal

I wanted to let folks know that I am the new editor =
of the journal Women’s Health Issues.  This is the only journal

devoted exclusively to women’s health issues at the medical/social interfac=
e.  The journal has a particular focus on women’s issues in the contex=
t of the U.S. and Canadian health care delivery systems and policymaking pr=
ocesses, although it invites submissions
addressing women’s health care issues in global context if relevant to Nor=
th American readers. It is a journal for health professionals, social scien=
tists, policymakers, and others concerned with the complex and diverse face=
ts of health care delivery and policy
to women.  The journal’s website is www.whijournal.com
.

I welcome and look forward to contributions by medic=
al sociologists.

The journal also has a new iPad App which is availab=
le for free on iTunes.
