PHAP is a competitive, two-year, paid CDC fello=
wship for recent graduates with a bachelor’s or master’s degree=
who are beginning a career in public health and are seeking hands-on
experience. Each PHAP associate is assigned to a state, tribal, local, or =
territorial public health agency and works alongside local public health pr=
ofessionals. After completing the program, PHAP graduates will be qualified=
for future jobs with federal, state,
tribal, local, and territorial public health agencies, and will be uniquel=
y prepared to pursue an advanced degree in public health.=
