20th Anniversary Conference
Marking 20 Years of AIDS in Sociology: Reflecting Back & Moving Forward
This one day conference held on Friday, August 7, 2009 at the San Francisco AIDS Foundation Offices marked the 20th anniversary of the first major ASA panel on AIDS. It offered sociologists and others interested in HIV/AIDS the opportunity to reflect on the field and contemplate new directions through panels and presentations by HIV researchers, local activists, and federal agency representatives.
